College Bound Students

Individualized, one-on-one college consulting services are available to students and families according to their needs. Clients may choose an “Express Consult” for short-term needs, or from one of the following packages:


Early High School Advising Package – Sophomore Year $750


Commencing any time from December 1st  of Sophomore  Year


This is a great way to begin early college planning and also have access to the supplemental parent workshops that we provide specially for our package clients each semester on financial aid and affordability (an additional $150 value). If a family decides to continue working with us, half of this package fee will be applied to the next package price (either Targeted or Comprehensive Package).


This “introductory” package includes:

  •  2 - 3 meetings (4 hour cap), to be completed by June 30th of sophomore year
  • Personalized review of College Options Admissions Overview workshop materials
  • Development of freshman and sophomore year action plans
  • Review of academic record and goal setting
  • Recommendations for course selections and standardized test planning
  • Discussion of, and recommendations for, extracurricular and summer activities
  •  Unlimited e-mail contact through June 30th of sophomore year

Comprehensive College Planning Packages - Junior and Senior Years $4,800 - $7,500 (depending on support level)


Commencing any time from May 1st of Sophomore Year – May 1st of Junior Year


Beginning at any time from the end of sophomore year through the end of junior year, this package includes an average of 20 meetings over 25 hours and essay support for 8 or 12 applications. This package includes consultant research time and unlimited email access to your consultant during the entire process.


The pace and order of these services is based on the needs of each client, and includes the following:


  • An initial two-meeting kickoff sequence with the student and their parents, including a general outline of the college search & admissions process
  • Student interest and college criteria assessments
  • Review of assessments and discussion of career & major interests
  • Transcript review and course planning
  • Standardized test planning
  • Activities review & resume development
  • Considerations for summer programs or academic work
  • College visit & research advising
  • Three stages of list development
  • Advice regarding admissions options including Regular Decision, ED/EA, SCEA and Rolling Admissions
  • Guidance on all aspects of the college application process including filing electronic forms, sending test results, acquiring recommendations, transcript requests, essay development and any supplemental material
  • Assistance with brainstorming and topic development of primary personal statement and all supplemental college essays for either 8 or 12 colleges (depending on package choice)
  • Interview preparation
  • Incorporation of affordability into the list development if requested
  • Review of acceptance choices, including handling waitlist decisions
  • Focus throughout the process on organizational tools well as attention to deadlines and application details

Additional optional sessions (2 per topic) are offered for students/families needing additional guidance with:

  • Affordability and merit aid search
  • Athletic recruitment process
  • College services evaluation and transition plan for students with learning differences
  • Visual or performing arts process

Targeted 10-Hour Consulting Package – Rising/Current Seniors $3,000


Rising/Current Seniors -Commencing any time after May 1st of Junior Year



Clients have the same access to the components of the Comprehensive College Consulting process, limited to a 10-hour compressed timeline. Usually this will comprise 6 - 7 meetings and includes the option to add hourly application and essay support. The 10-hour maximum is applied to all phone and personal meetings, though clients enjoy unlimited e-mail support through May 15th of senior year.


Express List or Affordability Consult – Junior or Senior Year


This is a short-term consult booked for no less than 90 minutes and no more than 3 hours. Prices vary depending on the nature of the consult. Please inquire if you have a specific short-term need.
